quickie but goodie…
so i’m at a store one day with booboo (booboo = DH, which in other forums means “dear husband”) and i’m buying a diane von furstenberg dress, and he balks at the price of course. but this is how i explain it to him:
“booboo, Diane Von Furstenberg is like, a totally important designer (nod to clueless). Her dresses are classics that have been around and re-invented since the 1970s. This dress is an investment piece that will only get better with age. Plus, she’s a totally cool cat who hung out with Andy Warhol a long time ago.”
dunno what the biggie is since I only have like, 3 of them. the one described above was actually the green “froggy” dress (i think that’s actually what it’s called). honestly, it’s not a bad price for silk. but the prints are wild and everyone comments on them at work - so it’s not like i can wear it every week since they are memorable (which is a good thing!)
the one i’m wearing today is the one pictured above (that model knows she’s hot! kinda looks part asian, eh?) bite offa me if you will by getting the dress here.
keep in mind i will not be doing that again, since susan don’t like to share… fashion is an independent sport.
