Hypocrits and the City

sex and the cityThis past weekend saw the release of the new Sex and the City film. I did not see this film, thus the title doesn’t have the word review in it. I watched the Indiana Jones movie, which by the way sucked. However, when i was at the theater i noticed something odd. There were a lot of fancy looking women and girls there that were all dressed up. Seeing as how this was a normal suburban theater i actually found this odd. I mentioned it to my friends and one of them told me ‘yeah apparently girls are dressing up as their favorite sex and the city character.’

Wow… that might be the lamest thing i’ve ever heard of. I actually put this on the same level as say… fat guys who wear sports jerseys. Lets call this what it really is though. People dressing up as their favorite movie character. I seem to have seen this somewhere before…. oh yeah! People dressed up as lord of the rings characters, or spiderman, or iron man. Usually guys… usually guys with questionable views of social mores. Usually guys that these oh so stylish women would make fun of. Yet here they are ostensibly doing the same thing. Fucking hypocrits. Sheik, well dressed, possibly attractive hypocrits… but hypocrits nonetheless.

i’m you friend but quit spelling HYPOCRITE wrong! and like i told you in person it’s not the same, at least these chicks are dressing up as HUMANS not DORKASS VIDEO GAME CHARACTERS :D and at least these chicks have social interaction with the opposite sex, albeit probably disturbed, conflicted interaction…
