There’s something i noticed lately when it comes to forums and comments. I absolutely hate most internet comments because the anonymity and audience turns the commenter into an asshole. However, i just can’t stop reading them. It’s almost like watching an accident unfurl before your eyes. The first few comments are civil enough. Then comes that first fucked up asshole comment. Usually made by some dork who somehow feels like he/she has something at stake in the argument. After that it’s all downhill with more and more mud being slung and less and less logic being used. As much as i hate all the fanboys that get caught up in it, i just can’t stop reading. It’s like the equivalent of internet rubbernecking.
